Great great point. Right on the money as to how I feel about the music scene here sometimes, and could even be the reason why we haven’t really ever “blown up” yet. The lack of dimensions.
But I love it for what it is. Ain’t no bass bump harder than bay slaps. And I’m a thinker, so sometimes I just like putting on some ignorant shit and get away from reality. The beauty of music.

Ahh, Tumblr! This connects to the previous reblog of mine so well in which my roommate showcases a few great artists (albeit limited- Asian) that I believe bring bay area music to another dynamic. Ideally, it would most def be nice for the majority to be exposed to *that* kind of music but, in all honesty, sometimes I kind of do enjoy knowing that this is music I listen to on my own accord and not blasted & reblasted on the radio and filtered through the masses. Mainstream does things to artists…sometimes…Far East Movement…ish…—-
